When I first saw this recipe I wasn’t that excited but when they had it on our table to try, I loved it! James and everyone from work love it too! Here it is enjoy!

40 Saltines
1 stick of butter
1/2 cup of sugar
1 tsp. of vanillla
pinch of salt
12 oz bad of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup of chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts or I like peanuts)

line a cookie sheet (9X13) with foil or parchment paper
Cover bottom with Salines making only one layer face down
Melt butter, sugar and vanilla in a saucepan on the stove
Pour and spread over crackers
Bake at 400 degrees for 5-7 minutes
Watch carefully that it doesn’t turn too brown- it should be bubbly and golden
Remove from oven

Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips on Top
Wait a little until they are soft and then spread them around covering all the crackers
Top with nuts
Refrigerate until hard. Break into random pieces.
